Research Topic:
By using an RNAi screen to discover genes important for mitosis, MB discovered a protein (Spindly/CCDC99) that is an important regulator of the kinetochore Rod/Zw10/Zwilch complex, which is involved in microtubule attachment and mitotic checkpoint signalling.
